FOUNDERS, DOT

„In 2013, Dot set out to make the world accessible for everyone - dot by dot. Inspired by a personal encounter with a visually impaired student, friends Eric Kim and Ki Sung came up with an innovative technology that reduces size, weight, and price of digital Braille devices by more than ten times. Since successfully launching the first Braille smartwatch 'Dot Watch' in 2015, the company has raised the bar for innovation: from the first graphical Braille display 'Dot Pad', to venturing into software with the first AI-based Braille translator 'Dot Translate' and the first customizable object recognition app 'Dot Go'. Dot is working with mainstream brands, governments, and institutions around the world to make spaces accessible for millions of visually impaired people everywhere."
