GABRIELA HEARST

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, CHLOÉ

Charles_G.jpg

„When Gabriela became the new creative director of Chloé, she put the brand through a rigorous sustainability program. Among other things, no new synthetic fibers such as polyester will be used in the future, only recycled ones. More than 50 percent of the silk is now organically grown, more than 80 percent of the cashmere is recycled and all the denim. 20 percent of all products comes from companies that are members of the World Fair Trade Organization. These new measures have already led to the fact that her first collection for Chloé is four times more sustainable than the one that the house showed a year ago. Additionally, she supports social organizations like Sheltersuit and her first collection was amazing."
